I can’t believe it’s been a year since I’ve gotten Tommy John Surgery. It’s been the longest but also the quickest year of my life. Lots of ups, lots of downs, but it was certainly worth it! I feel amazing and have been throwing the ball pretty well lately.

Thank you to Dr.Ahmad, Frank and Fiona (Team Ahmad!) for their outstanding work with me since the very beginning. They’ve simplified this entire process for me tremendously from start to finish. Whether it was answering questions about the Tommy John “freak outs” as I call it, or getting me in with a convenient appointment to make sure everything was working and healing smoothly, they’ve been amazing! Also Joe and the Physical Therapy team right across the hall are the absolute best. I love the relationship and time I have built with this PT team. They truly care and want the best for us as athletes.
